Battle-hardened Keroche Breweries billionnaire owner Tabitha Karanja says her impending arrest and likely arraignment in Court over alleged tax evasion os the work of her competitors.
Keroche’s main market challenger is the East African Breweries Limited (EABL) but it is not clear if she was referring to EABL when she urged Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji to go slow on “dirty beer wars”.
Ms Karanja protested that she only read a notice of her arrest through social media letter shared to her by a friend through WhatsApp.
She read malice instead saying that her last 22 years have not been easy in building her multibillion empire.
