Kenya Airways finally flies into Mogadishu, Somalia after clearing insurance hitch

Kenya Airways Embraer aircraft flights will finally take off from JKIA into Mogadishu, Somalia on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 after twice putting off the inaugural flight.

With the final route clearance, KQ will now start flying to Aden Adde International Airport, Mogadishu

Kenya Airways said said the airline it had met the insurance requirements.

The daily direct flights will be leaving JKIA at 1:00pm to arrive in Mogadishu at 1:45 pm local time. It is then expected to depart Aden Adde International Airport, Mogadishu at 3:50 pm to arrive back in Nairobi at 5:35pm.
