We caution consumers against paying for third party services like insurance through online merchants. We recommend that you pay directly

For electronics, and especially phones, we urge you to ask for an IMEI and serial numbers to authenticate their genuineness before paying for them or confirming on delivery.

We also encourage you to pay via Mpesa Express and not visa as they are prone to fraud due to low oversight by majority banks other than Standard Chartered Bank
