Respected High Court Judge Isaack Lenaola (pictured) has handed a heavy blow to civil rights activist Okiya Okoiti Omtatah in a ruling on the digital migration case.

The Judge not only dismissed the prayers by Mr Omtatah but he did ask that Mr Omtatah pays the costs of 14 parties to petition 59 of 2015.

“Without saying more, I am satisfied that the Petition herein was filed with mischief and will order that the Petitioner bears the costs of the 1st to 14th Respondents only and since Mr. Njoroge for the Attorney General did not pursue an order for costs, the 15th Respondent shall bear his own costs”, said Justice Lenaola.
