Former Planning and Vision-2030 Minister and Kakamega Governor Mr Wycliffe Oparanya has beaten his colleagues by appointing a 9-member Medical Advisory Board on health services.
They include Prof. Khainga Stanley Ominde, Prof. Charles Chunge, Dr Richard Baraza, Prof. Omu Anzala, Prof. Robert Tenge Karemu and Prof. Ayaya Samule Oluambula.
Others are Dr Rogers Songole, Prof. Johnston Wakhisi and Dr Edwin Anjila
Counties have been seen to lack capacity for heath services and the function will soon revert to the national government
